This 'Star Wars Rebels' fan-made anime opening is brilliant

We may have to wait an extra week to see an episode of Star Wars Rebels, but that doesn’t mean we have to go without.

In this case, the Internet has come along and offered up a pretty awesome fan-made video that I just had to share.

This video by YouTuber DragonRebelRose reimagines Rebels with an anime opening … and now I want a Rebels anime series. We know Steve Blum would feel right at home, and I’m dying to see what Lucasfilm editor Kevin Yost would do with something like this.

Who knows—maybe it could go on the Rebels season two Blu-ray as a bonus?

Check it out below!

I also found a couple others you might enjoy.

One for you shippers:

This video melds the Kanan comic with Rebels in a pretty awesome way:

I didn’t even realize this was a thing until I saw this. I should have guessed, but sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know, and you need other people to show you.

Extra love to Twitter user @Rebels_tk421 for cluing me in to this epicness. You really do share some incredible stuff—which makes being a Rebels fan even more fun.

Star Wars Rebels airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Disney X D.
